As a result of the wars in Libya, where landmines were used, many young Libyans have turned to robotics to detect the presence of landmines before soldiers or civilians enter war-affected areas. This innovation came after hundreds of Libyans were injured by landmines during the 2019-2020 war in Tripoli.
